Gabriele Kushi, world-renown macrobiotic and natural foods cooking teacher, takes the mystery out of whole foods cooking. Her last name Kushi adheres to the macrobiotic and natural foods movement that celebrates its 40-year anniversary worldwide. For more then 35+ years Gabriele has educated people from all over the world and all walks of life on how to become healthier and more self-reliant by choosing natural foods that sustain conscious lifestyles.

At each of the 4 Macrobiotic natural foods cooking classes Gabriele will be introducing a new food group from the Macrobiotic food pyramid. She will provide teachings on lifestyle and food, food cutting techniques, food preparation demonstration, natural foods info for all food groups, the macrobiotic food pyramid, seasonal menus, macrobiotic yin yang and seasonal teachings. Lifestyle is everything that nourishes us. Food is everything that comes on a plate. Classes also include handouts and recipes.

Gabriele loves to visit the local Farmers Markets for her fresh produce. She gets her staples like Miso, Tamari, Adzuki Beans, Sea Vegetables, and Brown Rice from Natural Import.
