Your Program Tuition includes:
- 6 sessions Wednesday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Kushi’s Kitchen
- Teachings on Primary Food and Secondary Food
- Primary Food is everything that does not come on a plate—your body mind and spirit
- Secondary Food is everything that comes on a plate—we will study how to properly prepare the food groups of the macrobiotic food pyramid
- Classes also include food cutting techniques and food preparation, natural foods info for all food groups, seasonal menus, and macrobiotic yin yang and 5 transformation teachings
- Class materials are being sent out via emails before and after class
- Handouts include primary and secondary foods we cover in class, including all recipes and seasonal menus
- Print them out, gather in a 3-ring folder, and bring to class
- Testing, evaluation, and support: We will do some Myers-Briggs testing, blood type classification, Ayurvedic dosha questioning, + macrobiotic Yin-Yang quizzes. We will use the buddy system to support your studies.
Please arrive on time:
I understand that you have a busy schedule and I pride myself on not keeping you waiting and not keeping you longer than planned.
Your session will end 2 hours after it was scheduled to begin.
Missed Sessions:
Missed Sessions: If you are not able to attend the session—you can find a friend who is able to sit in for you.
Please give me at least 24-hour notice with the name of the person who is sitting in for you.
At any case you will still receive the handouts for the session and can catch up with everybody.
You can also talk with your buddy about the missed class.
